Membership Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Association of Business Schools Admissions Professionals (ABSAP). By accessing our website (absap.org and associated materials) and paying membership dues, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Membership Eligibility

ABSAP is a professional association. Membership is restricted to the top 30 business schools as ranked by Bloomberg Businessweek, Poets & Quants (residential full-time MBA programs), or US News & World Report (undergraduate business programs). So long as a member school remains current on dues, they can maintain membership even if they drop out of the top 30. Once a school ceases to pay their dues, they must be in the top 30 to rejoin.

2. Membership Dues and Fiscal Years

ABSAP operates on a fiscal year cycle (July 1 – June 30).

  • Dues Structure: Dues are paid for a specific fiscal year (e.g., FY26). Access to membership benefits, including restricted website pages, is tied to the specific year purchased.

  • Expiration: Membership benefits for a specific fiscal year expire on June 30 of that cycle. It is the member school's responsibility to renew for the subsequent year to maintain uninterrupted access to materials.

3. Payment and Refund Policy

  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via major credit cards and various offline methods. If a member school pays offline, access to resources will not be granted until the payment is completed.

  • P-Cards: Members using school-issued procurement cards (P-cards) warrant that they are authorized by their institution to make the transaction.

  • Refund Policy: All membership dues are non-refundable. Because membership grants immediate access to proprietary digital materials and other resources, we cannot offer refunds once the transaction is complete.

4. Access to Proprietary Materials

As a member, you will be granted access to restricted resources.

  • Intellectual Property: All presentations, recordings, and documents provided are the property of ABSAP or the respective presenters.

  • Usage: Materials are for your professional development. You may not record, redistribute, or sell these materials to third parties or non-member institutions.

5. Code of Professional Conduct

Members are expected to interact professionally in all ABSAP events, conferences, and digital spaces. ABSAP reserves the right to revoke membership (without refund) for any member school whose employee engages in:

  • Harassment or discriminatory behavior.

  • Misrepresentation of professional credentials.

  • Intentional disruption of association events or digital platforms.

6. Limitation of Liability

ABSAP provides its website and materials on an "as-is" basis. While we strive for 100% uptime, we are not liable for temporary technical outages or processing delays. ABSAP is not responsible for any personal or institutional financial loss resulting from the use of our services.

7. Changes to Terms

ABSAP reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued membership and use of the site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

8. Contact Information

For questions regarding these terms, membership status, or payment issues, please contact the ABSAP Board at info@absap.org.
