2026 Conference Details

Every July, ABSAP members gather at a host business school for three days of high-impact networking and professional development.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of ABSAP—a milestone that makes this gathering even more meaningful.

More than just a conference, it’s a collaborative think-tank where peers share best practices, dissect successes and failures, and benchmark against top institutions. Attendees leave with fresh strategies, renewed energy, and a powerful network of colleagues.

The 2026 conference will be hosted by Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business from July 20–23, 2026.

2026 ABSAP Service Project

Join your fellow ABSAP members in bringing comfort to patients in Duke Medical Center’s Adult Oncology Wing.

It’s simple—bring a new, huggable stuffed animal with you to the conference to donate. (Due to infection control guidelines, all items must be new.)

Collected items will be delivered to the Duke Cancer Center where they will be shared with patients who can use a little extra comfort during their journey.

What’s the story behind this effort?
Barb Thomas from Iowa has been sending stuffed animals to Duke’s Adult Oncology Wing for nearly 25 years in memory of her brother-in-law, Tony Higgins. During his illness, Tony found unexpected comfort in a simple stuffed animal. Inspired by his experience—and aware that many adults face cancer alone—Barb began this tradition to offer that same sense of comfort to others, honoring Tony’s memory in a meaningful way.
