Outstanding Partnership Award

For several years, the Rice Business Career Development Office has organized “Treks” where students visit a city. The Rice Business Alumni Relations team realized they needed to seize every opportunity that came their way to be with students, and partnering with the CDO on Treks was one of those opportunities. Last year, an alumni relations staff member joined three Treks and planned a student/alumni event, and the cost was split between the two offices. Students on the Trek were required to attend, creating a built-in student audience for the alumni in attendance to meet. All Rice Business alumni were invited, making it a terrific engagement touch point.
